Here's my honest take on the lounge at Ezeiza International Airport (EZE), upstairs near the international gates 20–23. I visited on March 12, 2026, using Priority Pass. The lounge was relatively empty when we arrived, and it has showers, plentiful food and drink options—including choices for vegetarians and vegans—and an enclosed kids' play area. Those positives made this a lounge I'd recommend. The one thing I could do without was the amount of American Express advertising throughout the space.

🎯 First Impressions

The lounge is upstairs near gates 20–23. There is an elevator, though it looked old; if you're able, the stairs may be a better option. Inside, the first thing that stood out was how prominent the American Express branding was. Amex logos and ads appear on charging stations, by the seats, above the food, and even in the children's playroom.

👍 What I Actually Liked

A Generous Food and Drink Selection

There was plenty to choose from, including options for vegetarian and vegan travelers. The spread included local treats such as chocolate and white-chocolate alfajores. For drinks, I spotted local gin, Andes and Quilmes beers, and Malbec wines.

Showers and a Quiet Arrival

The lounge was relatively empty when we arrived, which made it easy to settle in. Showers are also available, a useful option before a long international flight.

A Thoughtful, Enclosed Play Area

The enclosed play area is set up for younger children, with little chairs and tables, toys, crayons for coloring, a toy stove, and large building blocks. There's a television in the playroom, too. Because the room is enclosed, children can play without their noise carrying as much into the rest of the lounge—a thoughtful feature for families, and a welcome bit of separation for those of us traveling without kids.

Plenty of TVs Around the Lounge

There are televisions throughout the lounge, including one in the kids' play area, so screens are available in different parts of the space. The seats have both EU- and US-style power outlets, so you can charge your devices before a long-haul flight.

Plane Views and Considerate Seating

The lounge has views of the tarmac and aircraft at gates 20–21. I also appreciated signs on tables that helped keep larger seating areas available for groups, rather than having couples take tables meant for four or more.

👎 What Disappointed Me

The American Express Advertising

The Amex branding was hard to miss: it appeared around charging stations and seating, above the food, and inside the kids' playroom. I understand that the space may be associated with the brand, but the sheer amount felt excessive to me. This isn't a Centurion Lounge, and the advertising sometimes seemed to be in every corner.

I entered with Priority Pass. I saw the Amex branding, but I can't confirm what access Amex cardholders may have.

I later read reviews describing long waits during peak hours. Some travelers said they were asked to wait for a WhatsApp message before entering; others reported seeing empty seats after being told the lounge was full. I didn't experience this during my visit, when the lounge was relatively empty, so conditions may vary. American Express branding in the play area

🤔 The Reality Check

Who Should Use This Lounge?

Travelers looking for a substantial spread before an international flight should find a lot to appreciate here, especially vegetarians, vegans, and families. The enclosed play area is a useful feature, and the views toward gates 20–21 add to the experience.

Is It Worth Visiting?

Based on my visit, yes. I accessed the lounge with Priority Pass, and the variety of food and drinks and the separate children's area made it a worthwhile stop. Just be prepared for American Express branding throughout the lounge.

💡 My Honest Verdict

Overall4.5/5

The Bottom Line

I'd recommend the Ezeiza lounge for its plentiful food and drink options—including choices for vegetarians and vegans—and its enclosed kids' play area. The heavy Amex advertising is the main drawback, but it didn't outweigh the positives for me.
